FAST AND FORGIVING FACE DESIGN
Our next-generation R•Moto clubface technology expands the portion of the face that delivers fast ball speed to give you more distance on off-center hits. Not only that, it expands the fast-speed area into places where you're most likely to mis-hit the ball -- high and toward the toe, and low and toward the heel.
FAST SWING SPEED
Big Bertha Fusion offers an unlikely combination of lower total weight and fast head aerodynamics, allowing you to easily increase head speed without swinging harder. Key to the advanced aerodynamics is the Speed Step. Designed with the help of aerospace engineers, the Speed Step is precisely shaped and positioned to improve how air flows over the crown to generate faster head speed.
OPTIMAL SHAFT LENGTH
Big Bertha Fusion is offered in two stock shaft lengths, 44.5" and 45.5". The shorter length promotes more head control and a higher smash factor for high ball speed; the longer length promotes faster swing speed for high ball speed. The length that promotes maximum distance depends on you, which is why we recommend testing both.
SUPER-HIGH MOI HEAD SHAPE
Big Bertha Fusion's new shape is longer from front to back compared to more traditionally shaped drivers, creating a geometry that maximizes head dimensions, minimizes weight and allows for an extremely deep CG location, all while conforming to USGA rules -- a difficult challenge to meet.
LOW AND DEEP CENTER OF GRAVITY (CG)
The exceptionally deep CG location makes it easy to launch the ball on a high, strong, long-carrying flight. This deep CG is made possible by Big Bertha Fusion's innovative construction that combines a titanium Exo-Cage with Triaxial Carbon crown and sole panels, which together free up an astonishing 35 grams of discretionary weight that's redistributed in the head.
INCREASED DRAW-BIAS
The"Draw-bias" helps counteract a player's slice-producing swing flaws by negating fade-spin to soften a slice and encourage a draw, both of which promote more distance. Key among Big Bertha Fusion's draw-bias features is the strategic positioning of a significant amount of weight in the heel area.
