This shoe has been crafted with uppers made of Hydromax treated Yak leather. Hydromax is the name given to exclusive ECCO leathers with high water resistant properties. During the tanning process hydrophobic compounds are distributed throughout the leather structure, not just upon the surface, this means that they don’t wear off and will last for the whole life of the shoe. This process has the added benefit of keeping the leather soft and durable and increasing its strain resistant properties.
