The TaylorMade Tour Preferred Wedge is built to maximise spin and control in the scoring zones. The combination of the optimised microtexture face pattern and the most aggressive grooves TaylorMade have ever created, provides exceptional spin with increased control, allowing you to take on even the most difficult pin positions. Beautiful from every angle, the traditional headshape is constructed from soft 304 stainless steel with a raw tour satin finish. The lack of chrome or plating on the head provides a buttery soft feel that provides a sweet feeling on every strike.

Classic Grind - The classic grind is for the player who prefers a clean, classicly designed wedge with a very traditional shape. The design is clean with slight progressive camber and generous heel relief. This heel relief allows for the versatilitty of a C-grind on open face shots but retains the main sole surface for better performance on full swings and shots from the bunker.

 

ATV Grind - The ATV sole was designed with feedback from tour player Jason Day. The ATV has a concaved sole that offers increased turf interaction by delaying the bounce, which in turn allows the wedge to glide through turf and sand.

 

The TaylorMade Tour Preferred Wedge is fitted with a brilliant KBS Tour-V Wedge shaft. The Tour-V Wedge shaft is designed to produce shots with a low-mid trajectory and mid ball spin. Tested and proved on tour, this amazing shaft creates a piercing ball flight with incredibly tight shot dispersion.
