Taylormade R9 Graphite #1 Driver
Introducing the Taylormade R9 driver, set to replace the Taylormade R7, one of golf's most iconic drivers in 2009, we can reveal its the most performance enhancing driver in the market. The new TaylorMade R9 is fully adjustable, for the first time ever, and will combine three moveable weights with a new TaylorMade technology, called Flight Control Technology (FCT) for ultimate settings.
The R9 Golf Driver is a much improved and technically advanced model than the r7 quad, which launched in 2004. It incorporated TaylorMade's revolutionary Movable Weight Technology (MWT), which gives you the power to change the clubhead's centre of gravity (CG) to promote different types of ball flight to accommodate your own swing needs. The R9 combines FCT and MWT (Moveable Weight Technology) to give any golfer up to 75 yards of side-to-side trajectory and flight control for the desired ball flight of your choice.
TaylorMade have also fitted the R9 with a Fujikura Motore 65-gram which features a high inertia tip for increased clubhead speed for crunching distance off the tee. Most previous TaylorMade metalwoods can be bent to adjust the face, loft and lie angles; it happens every week on the PGA Tour in the TaylorMade Tour Trailer, as tour pros commonly request such tweaks to improve their performance. However, the process requires a tour technician to immobilize the clubhead and bend the hosel by hand. FCT makes it possible to quickly, accurately and easily adjust the face, loft and lie angles yourself, to give your game the desired ball flight.
