The Cobra Golf Fly Z irons have been created to help golfers improve their iron play throughout the set. Designed with a Speed Channel Sole that flexes and recovers at impact and a deep undercut cavity design, these irons provide golfers with improved distances thanks to faster ball speed while still maintaining the feel of forged irons.

Speed Channel

This is an engineered trench that runs across the sole of the club and around the perimeter of the back cavity. It minimises face thickness for a more pronounced flex and recovery on impact. This boosted trampoline effect increases ball speeds across the face to deliver improved distance without sacrificing feel.

Design

Thanks to the Harmonic Cavity Insert, these clubs offer greater feel. Cobra have engineered a Thermoplastic Urethane insert right behind the impact zone to dampen vibrations for exceptional feel after every shot. These irons also benefit from a Deep Perimeter Undercut that creates the large unsupported face allowing you to get extreme distance on perfect hits and consistent distances on off centre hits.
