Technology
This incredible GPS provides distances to the front, back and middle of the green, and also layup yardages to help you avoid hazards. This GPS also has functions called Club Suggestion and PlaysLike Distance, acting like a caddy to tell you what club is best. It does this by remembering how far you hit each club, while the PlaysLike feature takes into account uphill and downhill shots. You also have the option to make the numbers simpler to read thanks to the Big Numbers Mode.
Scoring Options
This superb device also has a digital scorecard, where you can set up different game modes (stableford, strokeplay & matchplay) for up to 4 players. You can also add in all the stats for each player including fairways hit, GIR, putts per round and then share with your friends when your relaxing with a post game drink in the clubhouse.
Garmin Connect Compatible
The Garmin G7 is compatible with Garmin Connect to give you the ability to review rounds and see performance statistics before and after play, as well as the ability to share scores with your fellow golfers. Garmin Connect shows hole by hole details for your favourite courses so you can see where to improve your game and view your Dream Score on each course. Dream Score is what you would score if you hit your best score from each individual hole all in one round. The Scorecard feature allows you to view and share your scorecards and keep track who you’ve played with. You can also see the number of fairways hit, greens in regulation and number of putts for that round. Garmin Connect also keeps track of your stats and track of your progress over time. Track your longest shots, view your average score by par, overall fairways hit percentage, overall greens in regulation percentage and average putts. Garmin Connect will take your golf to the next level.
