Casey: The drinks are on WestwoodThursday 26 Nov, 2009 02:00:00
England's Paul Casey has said the drinks are on Lee Westwood following the world number four's Race to Dubai success.
Commenting on his official website, Casey - who is currently fifth on the Official World Golf Rankings - congratulated his European Ryder Cup team-mate on winning the Order of Merit title and commented on his 'great play all year'.
On a more personal note, Casey revealed that he is close to returning to 100 per cent fitness after a rib muscle problem and the decision not to play at the Dubai World Championship has 'paid off'.
'The MRI [scan] showed no further damage, my doctor believed the pain was from inflammation in the cartilage,' he explained.
Casey added that he is now working on his game again, although he cannot hit as many balls as usual because he does not want to aggravate the injury.
He is scheduled to return to action at the Chevron World Challenge in California on December 3rd.
