Nike Golf reflects on 2008

Nike Golf has looked back on the last 12 months, a year when it claimed to be successful once again.

It highlighted the fact that two players who use Nike equipment won Major championships during the course of the season.

Those two players - Trevor Immelman and Tiger Woods - claimed the US Masters and US Open respectively.

Indeed, Nike golfers made up the top three at the former tournament, which took place at Augusta in April.

Later on in the year at the US Open, which was played at Torrey Pines, Woods used Nike Golf's new Victory Red wedge.

The manufacturer recalled the world number one's 'amazing chip on the 17th hole during his third round'.

Other Nike golfers include the latest big talent to emerge on the PGA Tour Anthony Kim, Stewart Cink and Justin Leonard.

Kim was integral to the US team's success at the Ryder Cup in September, beating the experienced Sergio Garcia in a final-day singles match.
