Golf equipment provider Cobra is taking 'a giant step into the future' with its new L5V driver.
That is the opinion of Golf Week, which claims that the company is 'determined to remain different' with its products.
Apparently the new driver comes with adjustable flight patterns, meaning players can alternate between open- and square-faced hitters.
Cobra, therefore, becomes the first manufacturer to offer golfers adjustable shaft positions in the driver head.
Brent Norton, director of custom-fitting for retailer Miles of Golf in Michigan, claimed that players of different handicaps tested the new clubs over the course of one whole day.
'I really think this driver is going to be a home run for us. The golfers we tested, they saw how the shot shape changed,' he claimed.
Earlier this week, Golf Monthly reported that Wilson is launching a new line of irons - the Di9 - which prevent players feeling unwanted vibrations.
