Donald to replace Kim in South AfricaEnglishman Luke Donald has been drafted into the field for the Sun City Challenge in South Africa next month.

The 30-year-old missed a large chunk of the season just gone after injuring his wrist in June's US Open.

He had surgery in August and is set to return to action in place of American Anthony Kim, who has injury problems of his own.

The Ryder Cup star, who was recently disqualified from the HSBC Champions event for using a damaged driver, has an ankle injury.

Commenting to BBC Sport this week, Kim claimed that he was looking forward to playing in South Africa and is disappointed at having to pull out.

'My doctors have recommended I limit my upcoming play to allow the injury to recover,' he explained.

The Sun City Challenge runs from December 4th until December 7th, and takes place at the Gary Player Country Club.
