Nick Faldo has said he would 'really consider' captaining the European Ryder Cup team again if the opportunity arose.
The 51-year-old was the skipper of the side which lost to the Americans in Kentucky earlier this year.
Players such as Paul Casey and Ian Poulter, who took part in the transatlantic showdown, backed Faldo after the defeat, but he was widely criticised for some of the decisions he made during the week at Valhalla.
Commenting ahead of the UBS Hong Kong Open, which started today and involves Faldo, the Englishman said that he loved leading the team.
'I enjoyed it so much that week. It really was a great experience,' he explained.
Paul Azinger, the US Ryder Cup captain, recently took the majority of his winning team to visit president George Bush at the White House in Washington.
Mr Bush told the players that he was watching every moment of their first victory over Europe in four attempts.
