AG News: Rose reclaims #1 ranking after Turkish Open win
Justin Rose soared back to the top of the world rankings after edging out Haotong Li in a thrilling finish at the Turkish Airlines Open.
Lexi Thompson has extended her partnership with Cobra/Puma Golf beyond 2014, it has been said.
The extension will see the American continue to wear Puma golf clothing and use Cobra equipment.
Bob Philion, the president of Cobra Puma Golf, said of the new deal: "Lexi Thompson has been an instrumental global force for the company's growth over the past three years.
"We are thrilled to continue our work with her in the coming years and watch her evolve as a world-class golfer and trend-setter on and off the course."
Lexi Thompson added: "Being part of the Cobra Puma Golf team has played a huge role in the success of my professional golf career, and I'm excited to continue our partnership.
"I'm looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges the coming years will bring with the Cobra Puma Golf family behind me."
Thompson has worked closely with the major golf brand since turning professional in 2010, and she since become the youngest ever winner on the LPGA Tour in 2011 when she won the Navistar LPGA Classic aged just 16 years, seven months and eight days.
