Skechers expand its experienced sales team to cope with demand

Following phenomenal growth across the UK and Ireland, Skechers double its sales agency team to extend their reach in Scotland in 2016. You can read the full press release below:

Skechers GO GOLF shoes have proven to be a big hit for both traditional green grass and high street retailers across the UK and Ireland. After launching in 2014, the brand has achieved phenomenal growth over the last two years, with more than 50% more retailers now set to stock Skechers in 2016. Retailers have also reported a growing consumer interest in the Skechers brand, with repeat orders remaining strong right through to the end of the season.

The recent appointment of two new highly experienced area agents for Scotland, Steve Alexander and Allan Stevenson, demonstrates Skechers’ commitment to ensure the brand is available to everyone in all parts of the country.

The trend is set to continue and 2016 already looks set to break the record sales achieved in 2015.

Alan Chenery, an experienced Skechers GO GOLF sales agent who covers the largest territory in the UK, underlined the key areas of this amazing success story, saying “I have had excellent results and feedback from my customers about Skechers GO GOLF brand. Two key aspects stand out, the comfort factor and the look, which is as aesthetically pleasing as any other brand in the market.”

On the success of sales, Chenery added “The sell-through ratio with my outlets has been nothing short of outstanding, and this is down to the immense consumer awareness of the Skechers brand; although they are new to the golf market, the brand has an excellent reputation on the high street and that has helped enormously.”

From a golf brand awareness perspective, Skechers have some respected ambassadors in the form of Matt Kuchar and Colin Montgomerie.

Seven-time PGA tour winner Matt Kuchar, who also recently won the Fiji Invitational, is obviously impressed by the GO GOLF Pro shoe he wears, saying “Whether competing or practicing, I’m on my feet for hours, so the comfort and performance of my shoes is a critical factor in my success.”

European Senior Tour order of merit leader Colin Montgomerie has made an explosive start to his senior career, already winning three Senior Majors and seven Senior European Tour events. He is equally impressed with Skechers GO GOLF, saying “I was not surprised when Skechers entered the golf market as they are known for making comfortable, top quality shoes. I spend a lot of time on my feet, both when I’m playing and when I’m practising, so shoes really matter to me and Skechers GO GOLF products really make a difference to my game.”

So as the season ends and the year draws to a close, now is the time to start thinking about something different to offer your customers in 2016, and Skechers GO GOLF shoes may just be the perfect fit.
