Golf manufacturer Wilson Staff is set to release a new smooth driver, which is designed to be as aerodynamic as possible.
It is scheduled to be on the market in February and will come with a variable thickness in order to increase the size of the sweet-spot.
The company is suggesting that the driver will give players a 'powerful, efficient performance', according to Golf Monthly.
In addition to the new driver, Wilson plans to launch its Di9 irons, which apparently have an insert in the cavity to stop players feeling any unwanted vibrations when they hit the ball.
One of the reasons cited by the magazine for Wilson's new range is so that the firm can capitalise on the recent success of Open Championship and US PGA Championship winner Padraig Harrington, who endorses the brand.
Some of Wilson's other players include Markus Brier, Jesper Parnevik and Brad McIntosh.
