Matteo has won in each year since then with victories at the 2011 Maybank Malaysian Open, 2012 Barclays Singapore Open, and his finest moment to date at the 2013 BMW PGA Championship, where he won the European Tour’s flagship tournament with a playoff birdie. Surprise, surprise, he’s the youngest ever winner of that event too. Ryder Cups, major wins and legendary performances…they’re all on his radar.
