Elizabeth Mallett

Elizabeth Mallett enters the Ladies European tour having recently announced her decision to turn professional in January 2017 after a highly successful amateur career.
The Englishwoman has enjoyed steady progress through the amateur ranks, representing England at both girls and ladies international level for several years. The basis of her international recognition was the platform created by winning three English national titles. These victories included success in consecutive English Girls titles at U15 and U18 level.
Her first major success on the European stage came at the European Girls Championship in 2012 where she set a record breaking championship all time low score of 64 combined with a 69 during the qualification.

Following the recognition received by her European Girls individual title, Elizabeth became the attention of the on looking US college coaches and this paved the way for her to attend university in the USA. Later that year she decided to take up the offer of a golfing scholarship at the University of North Carolina based in Chapel Hill.
Elizabeth now has a wealth of NCAA Division 1 college golf experience behind her, having been based for 4 years as a starter on the women’s golf team. Her collegiate highlights include 7 top ten finishes and being named to both All-ACC and All-Region teams 2016.

Four back-to-back top 10 finishes in the spring of 2014 were topped off with an outstanding 5 shot victory at the 2014 SMU Invitational in Dallas, Texas. This win took her to a world ranking of 45. The North Carolina graduate competed in Lalla Aicha Final Qualifying in December 2016 and recently earned her playing rights on Ladies European Tour for 2017.
