Nick Taylor

Nick has been coaching for 10 years, and in 2009 achieved a qualification as a fully Qualified Professional in the UK. Nick aim’s to make the game as simple as possible to learn and to help as many golfers as possible play better golf.

Nick believes the fundamentals of golf are misinterpreted, and if you take a look at the best players. They all hold the club differently, align differently, address the ball differently and aim the club differently. Therefore you have to look at what links them all. This led Nick to learn about the Stack & Tilt golf system which focuses on 3 fundamentals:

• 1: Where the club hits the ground
• 2: Power
• 3: Controlling the curve of the golf ball

Along the way Nick has been fortunate to learn from Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett (PGA Tour instructors) and had the invaluable experience of caddying for Mike in the European Tour School Qualifying in 2014. Nick has spent many hours learning and watching Andy and Mike coach all levels of golfers. Nick has been working at American Golf store in Thurrock since November 2016, Nick’s role focuses mainly on custom fitting and providing free 30 minute lessons through the AG club card scheme.
