  • Shaft:
    ?

    Shaft option tooltip

The golf shaft uses the centrifugal force of the swing to generate clubhead speed for striking the golf ball. By picking the correct shaft type to match your swing speed, you'll add distance, consistency and performance to your game.

  • Flex:
    ?

    Flex option tooltip

The flex determines a shaft’s ability to bend during a swing, affecting clubhead speed, distance and control.

Which flex you use will depends on the type of swing you have. Beginners and those with less powerful swings tend to use a shaft with greater flexibility to create more clubhead speed. However, if a player has a high swing speed, they will require a stiffer shaft with less flex.

  • Shaft Length Adjustment:
    ?

    Shaft length tooltip

Getting the correct shaft length benefits you in several ways. We are all different in height and our wrist to floor measurements. Having the wrong length shafts can hinder your address position, stop the clubhead sitting correctly at address & impact and cause lack of accuracy and consistency.

  • Lie Angle:
    ?

    Lie angle tooltip

Lie angle is a factor that affects the accuracy of golf shots. Golfers who use clubs whose lie angles don't fit their body types and/or golf swings are costing themselves strokes. Too upright and the heel strikes the turf first closing the clubface, while too flat and the toe makes contact first opening the clubface.

An “off the shelf” club has a standard lie angle and you can usually choose between ½” or 1” increments upright or flat to custom fit the club to you.

  • Taylormade Grip:
    ?

    Grip option tooltip

The style of the grip is more often a personal choice but choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. We all have different sized hands so take this into account when building your perfect club.

  • Grip Thickness:
    ?

    Grip thickness tooltip

Choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. If the grip is too thin your hands will over-rotate resulting in a pull or draw. If the grip is too thick it limits movement of the wrists, leading to a push or fade.

Overview
Introducing the new TaylorMade P790 irons.

The TaylorMade Irons Feature:

  • Thin Wall Construction / Forged L-Face
  • SPEEDFOAM™ Air / THRU-SLOT SPEED POCKET™
  • Tungsten Mass Weighting
  • 2-Year Guarantee

Thin Wall Construction & Forged L-Face

Constructed with 8620 carbon steel which allowed engineers to design the head with thinner walls and face. The weight saved is then redistributed into strategical locations to lower the CG placement. The L-face is just 1.5mm thick forged from a forged 4140 steel, this offers extreme face flexing for faster ball speed performance and a premium forged feel.

SPEEDFOAM™ Air

The irons have been strategically injected with an even lighter foam that achieves the best possible speed performance and feel, engineered to the tightest possible tolerance to the legal limit of speed. This new foam is 69% lighter than its predecessor to save 3.5g of weight which is then redistributed for a better launch.

THRU-SLOT SPEED POCKET™

Engineered to maximise forgiveness and provide additional ball speed on miss-hit low strikes off the face.

Tungsten Weighing

This new thinner construction enabled 31g of Tungsten to be placed into the toe for a low CG. This method achieves a massive increase of stability and forgiveness in a players inspired iron.

Intelligent Sweet Spot

Even the sweet spot has been increased by up to 60%. TaylorMade captured data analytics and then repositioned the most effective hitting area lower on the face. This is the most effective area to capture more shots to give golfers more performance.

Multiple Shaft Options

Choose from a range of shafts to suit your playstyle:

Dynamic Gold

The most successful shaft in the history of golf, Dynamic Gold is a tour-weighted shaft that is designed for players seeking a penetrating ball flight with optimum control and accuracy.

Dynamic Gold 105 VSS

For years there have been trade-offs when producing a lightweight steel shaft featuring tour-level performance. With Dynamic Gold 105, these compromises are no more. By creating a tour-caliber shaft in a premier lightweight design, the new Dynamic Gold 105 provides players with a stable mid launching and spinning shaft that is engineered to be easier to swing.

Dynamic Gold 95

Dynamic Gold 95 is the culmination of endless R&D and years of testing from our alloy engineering team. Dynamic Gold 95 is designed as our lightest constant weight offering and our most flexible steel shaft in our entire True Temper line of shafts.

Elevate 95

Tempo is not how fast you swing it, it is how you swing it fast. Tempo will affect how you load and unload the shaft and is a big factor in which shaft will best suit you. A player with a quicker backswing and more aggressive transition will have a faster tempo, while a player with a slower backswing and smoother transition will have a more deliberate tempo.

KBS Tour

The KBS TOUR is Kim Braly’s signature shaft and is ideal for players desiring shot versatility and mid trajectory. Incorporating unique KBS technology, the KBS TOUR maximizes energy transfer for increased shot control. The KBS TOUR offers a smooth, responsive feel and is the preferred model by several of the best golfers in the world.

KBS MAX MT

KBS MAX is a lightweight shaft for mid-high handicap players. It produces a high trajectory and spin rate for longer distance shots. KBS MAX designed for players seeking to maximize the performance of their irons.

KBS C-Taper

Inspired by Tour player feedback, the KBS C-TAPER shaft is designed for players requiring a low piercing trajectory and superior shot control.

Nippon Modus 120

The benefits of the high quality and consistent performance of the award winning lightweight N.S. PROGH series can now be found in this shaft. They are popular withtouring pros because they offer optimal performance in trajectoryt, distances and dispersion.

Nippon 850

The N.S. 850 enjoys rapidly growing popularity as an "attacking" shaft. These ultra-lightweigh models feature easy contact thanks to their light weight and consistent directionality.

Nippon 950 NEO

While inheriting the superb handling and directional accuracy of the 950GH, neo better matches todays iron heads with rigidity characteristics refined by patented processes from the N.S. Pro.

Nippon Modus 105

The N.S. Pro Tour 105 was first brought out to tour and was put into play immediately. Its lighter weight increases club head speed for longer distances, straighter shots, stronger trajectory and more consistent performance.

Project X

Project X iron shafts are trusted by the best players in the world and are a staple in golf shaft design. Maintaining a stout profile throughout the entire shaft, Project X is a preferred choice by stronger swingers looking for a flat, penetrating ball flight and unmatched stability.

Project X LZ

Project X LZ features their proprietary Loading Zone Technology which produces maximum shaft load during the downswing for greater energy transfer. Loading Zone Technology is achieved through variable wall technology in the shaft’s butt and tip sections and a reduced stiffness in the midsection. Golfers can not only feel the technology, but can see it, in the rapid tapered steps from the grip through the midsection of the shaft.
