Callaway Golf gets Epic with new club range

The Great Big Bertha Epic range by Callaway Golf has arrived, bringing to the greens its groundbreaking Jailbreak Technology.

So, what exactly is Jailbreak Technology, and how can it improve a players’ game? Jailbreak Technology is a brand new innovation which Callaway has created to dramatically increase distance by stiffening the body to transfer more energy to the golf ball…And no one else has this technology!

But it isn’t just in the Jailbreak Technology where Callaway excels. Exo-Cage construction has an innovative head which unites with the brand’s aerospace-grade titanium and ultra-light triaxial carbon crown (9.7g, the lightest ever Callaway driver) and sole (5.8g) to allow players to distribute more weight in the perimeter for higher MOI and greater forgiveness in a high-launch, low-spin design.

The Epic’s adjustable perimeter weighting changes the position of the 17-gram weight on its precision-engineered track, thus allowing players to easily fit the golf club to your swing. This also provides 21 yards of shot-shaping control to help promote straighter and longer tee shots.

Next there’s Speed Step – using a streamlined head created with direct input from aerodynamics experts at Boeing to improve airflow; encouraging more swing speed and distance without any added effort being needed.

Weight saved by the ultra-lightweight triaxial carbon crown (78% lighter than steel) is repositioned to increase levels of MOI (11% higher than XR 16) and lower the CG (center of gravity) for easy launch and longer, straighter shots.

Callaway Golf has gone EPIC – check out the whole Epic club range, available now at American Golf.
