Woods 'loving life' ahead of comeback

Tiger Woods is set to make another comeback following his fourth back operation, but says he is now pain free and no longer reliant on painkillers. However, has no idea how well he can play.

Woods said that more than six months after an operation to fuse vertebrae in his lower back, he was not only pain free, but was also off medications used to manage the pain that followed said surgery.

"I was trying to go away from the pain and I was trying to sleep, which I hadn't done in a very long time because of the things I've been dealing with," Woods said. “I've come out the other side and I feel fantastic."

However, Woods, who is to play the Hero World Challenge at Albany, Bahamas this week, said he had no idea how well he would be able to play.

"I don't know where I'm at," he said. "What I mean by that is I don't know how hard I can hit it, what shots can I play ... I don't know what the future entails in that regard because I'm still learning this body."
