Callaway Golf Apex Pro Irons Available Now
Callaway Golf’s newest irons, the Callaway Golf Apex Pro Irons, have arrived at american golf.
The new face insert generates an additional 1-2 mph in golf ball speed upon impact, which in turn generates far greater distance on every shot.
New ultra-soft 1020 Forged carbon steel body is truly marvellous to hold and should also serve to promote greater feel and improved responsiveness for precise distance dominance and control.
Another feature that is key to the Callaway Apex Pro is a series of tungsten inserts that have been placed into the 3-5 irons. These strategically-placed sole additions lower the golf clubs centre of gravity (COG), resulting in increased forgiveness and make it easier to get the golf balls airborne.
Short Irons also feel the benefit from a new, high-performance, wide-spaced groove that offers better control and increased consistence in spin from a range of different lies.
Onto the shaft, and the new True Temper XP95 lightweight steel shaft comes with variable wall thickness; this is designed to offer improvements in feel towards the butt (thinner) and better control and accuracy is more assured towards the top of the shaft (thicker).
The Callaway Golf Apex Pro Irons are formidable golf clubs that definitely raise the bar when it comes to built-in prowess. Expect these to be great sellers going into Christmas and throughout 2014.
