AG News: Rose reclaims #1 ranking after Turkish Open win
Justin Rose soared back to the top of the world rankings after edging out Haotong Li in a thrilling finish at the Turkish Airlines Open.
Paul Casey clinched his first victory in over two years with a three-shot win at the Irish Open at Carton House.
Casey dropped from third in the world rankings to 169th, but after firing a superb five-under-par 67 in conditions best reserved for kite flying, he finished 14 under and claimed the title.
Overnight leader Joost Luiten (74) and Robert Rock (71) were joint second with Pablo Larrazabal (75) finishing in fourth. Jose Maria Olazabal was tied for the lead midway through his round but fell away to finish joint fifth on eight under. Casey now holds his 12th European Tour title after overturning a four-shot deficit in the final round.
