Donald Changes Swing Coach After 16 Years
The news which is seeping out of the Luke Donald camp is that the Englishman has decided the time is right for him to change coaches, with Chuck Cook taking the reins.
The 35-year-old revealed on Wednesday that he had employed Texan Chuck Cook, the man who has been overseeing recent USPGA Championship winner Jason Dufner.
It will come as a surprise to many in the game, considering how close he is to Pat Goss. The Brit has worked with Goss since he joined Northwestern University in Chicago way back in 1997.
And Goss was also there to help him top the World Rankings as well as win 14 professional titles. In that time Donald has also amassed more than £25million in on-course earnings. However, Donald will retain Goss for his famed putting prowess and chipping service, just not for his swing.
The pair remain on good terms.
