Georgia Hall’s Title Delight
Georgia Hall made it the perfect weekend for English golfers after winning the 2013 Ladies’ British Amateur Championship at a windswept Machynys Peninsula in South Wales.
Dorset-born Hall added to Justin Rose’s win at the US Open to make it double delight for English golf, and in the process became the first female to hold the girl’s and ladies’ titles at the same time.
The 17-year-old also hit her first-ever hole in one to cap off an incredible victory, claiming the win was “amazing.”
Hall has now qualified for the Open and US Open and is hoping to turn professional before the year is out.
