Jim Furyk re-signs with Callaway Golf along with six new Tour Staffers
It’s been a busy couple of days for Callaway Golf as the company ties down one of its best players to a new contract while also expanding its Tour staff by six in preparation for the 2015 season.
Jim Furyk has wasted little time in committing his future to Callaway after penning a fresh deal with the golf giants on Thursday. Callaway quickly sent out a tweet confirming the deal, along with Furyk’s reaction to the re-signing.
The tweet amused many as it showed a video clip of the American celebrating his new deal by showering himself in golf tees – while also sporting a brand new Callaway cap.
Meanwhile, Callaway has been busy adding fresh blood to its ranks in 2015 with the signing of six Tour staff players.
Kenny Perry, Jason Kokrak, Kevin Kisner, Scott Brown, Belen Mozo and Stephanie Meadow are set to join the company and help Callaway achieve even more in the new season.
With 31 players now on its US-based staff, plus 24 staff players from the European Tour, Callaway is a tower of strength right now and at an all-time high.
