Motocaddy supports PGA EuroPro Tour for ninth consecutive year
Motocaddy has been announced as the ‘Official Electric Trolley’ of the PGA EuroPro Tour a ninth year in succession ahead of the circuit’s opening event at the Belfry next week (15-17 April).
Motocaddy – which recently launched its most advanced golf trolley in the form of the compact-folding and feature-busting M3 PRO – will be providing support at all 17 events on this year’s PGA EuroPro Tour schedule, including tournaments in The Belfry’s four-time Ryder Cup Brabazon course, as well as other prestigious venues such as Burhill, The Carrick Loch Lomond, Prince’s, Moor Allerton and Slaley Hall.
The 2014 PGA EuroPro Tour will be rewarding each event winner with a £10,000 first-place prize, plus a new Motocaddy trolley for them to use as well.
“We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Motocaddy into a ninth season and look forward to another successful year with its expert backing,” said PGA EuroPro Tour MD Eddie Hearn. “A lot of our players use a Motocaddy trolley when competing because they value the reliability and quality of features on offer.”
There’s lots of reason for golfers to take these events seriously too, as the top five finishing players on the final PGA EuroPro Tour Order of Merit will earn a Challenge Tour card – a route to stardom that has been taken by major winners Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel.
“The pedigree of the EuroPro Tour is there for everyone to see and the quality of golf on display gets stronger every year,” said Motocaddy Chairman David Wells.
“We’re excited to renew our agreement with the Tour and look forward to working with their talented players, who continue to provide us with feedback that helps shape our product development.”
