TaylorMade Performance Centre opens in Norway
TaylorMade-adidas Golf has confirmed the opening of its Performance Centre at Losby Golf Club in Norway.
LPGA Tour Player Natalie Gulbis was on hand to officially open the venue and explain to the gathered crowd the importance of custom fitting in the modern game.
Natalie began the talk by going through her extensive warm up in order to demonstrate the need for being properly prepared to play the sport professionally. She also enlisted the help of a local junior female golfer before taking them through her stretching routine, offering insight into the level of preparation undertaken by those at the top of the sport, and answering questions from the audience on how best to prepare for their round.
The multiple Solheim Cup winner also spoke at length about her own experiences with custom fitting, and said that she had never had any issues in changing between products, providing she can see the benefits of doing so.
Gulbis told the crowd that in her most recent fitting session that it had been suggested she try an extra degree of loft to her TaylorMade JetSpeed Driver, and that has resulted in an extra 10 yards in distance over her previous 9.5 degree model.
Liam McDougall, TaylorMade European Performance Centre Manager, said of the event featuring Natalie Gulbis: “Losby provides a fantastic opportunity for the consumer to attend a world class custom fitting facility and touch the brand TaylorMade-adidas Golf ”.
The Losby custom fitting store is open now, so for american golf fans living in Norway or those who are planning to go there, be sure to check it out.
