Titleist Golf continues support of DP World Tour Championship

Titleist Golf continues to strengthen its bond with the DP World Tour Championship as the event in Dubai prepares for its European Tour season-ending event at Jumeriah Golf Estates from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 November.

The world-famous brand, which boasts more players using – and winning – with their golf balls on the European Tour, has been involved in the tournament since the inaugural event in 2009. This year will mark the sixth consecutive year of the sponsorship between the two parties.

Titleist will be running a Titleist 915 Long Drive Contest as part of the free golf lesson initiative supported by the Emirates Golf Federation and the R&A. The contest, which is sure to attract a wealth of golfers to the event, will take place in the Championship Village and is set to run for all four days of the DP World Tour Championship. A driving range stocked with 400 dozen Titleist golf balls will also be on show during the week.

The excess Titleist balls left over after the tournament will be donated to junior and grassroots golf initiatives in the region and we will discuss with our stakeholders how best to put them to good use.”

Titleist is an Official Partner of The European Tour, sitting alongside other DP World Tour Championship partners Rolex, Emirates and BMW.

Titleist has some of the best tour players on its books, including 2013 DP World Tour Championship and Race to Dubai Champion Henrik Stenson, Ryder Cup hero Jamie Donaldson and ISPS Handa Wales Open winner Joost Luiten.
