Flash Face SS20
To improve on the highly successful Epic Flash, Callaway invested in a new supercomputer to better develop the Mavrik with a deeper and better understanding of A.I and machine learning. This led to the new Flash Face architecture which offers optimum speed and spin to deliver more performance. This is achieved by using high strength C300 maraging forged steel which is super strong and resilient at impact to expand speed along the clubface.
Jailbreak & Face Cup Technology
These proven technologies essentially change the way the head and face behaves at impact to deliver more ball speed and distance. Jailbreak is 2 strong titanium bars behind the face, parallel to each other and connected on either end to the crown and sole. The size, strength and location of each Jailbreak bar work together to reduce how much the crown and sole deflect, forcing the face to take on more of the load created at impact than ever before. This along with an enhanced Face Cup results in faster ball speeds across the entire face offering more consistent distances, even on miss-hits.
T2C Carbon Crown
This carbon creates an unbelievable light and strong composite material, with a single fixed weight in the centre-back of the sole. Provides a low and back CG location that makes it easy to launch with a flatter trajectory. This allowed engineers to redistribute weight into key areas to also improve forgiveness.
As well as improving performance the fairway features a unique leading-edge geometry for easy launch and a generous heel camber for a versatile performance.
