Shipping & Delivery Information

We take the delivery of your order extremely seriously and as such we work very closely with our couriers, DPD; part of Geopost and one of Europe's largest carriers, and Hermes.

We offer full traceability for your orders from point of shipping through to delivery. You will receive an email as soon as we ship your orders from our Warehouse, containing a link through to the tracking system where you will be able to see the progress of your delivery.

UK Deliveries:

We are pleased to be able to offer a range of different delivery services, such as Standard (free on orders over £50) and Next Working Day, Saturday and Choose a Deliver Date. Availability of these services is dependant on the destination of your order. All available options will be presented to you in the basket, after you have submitted the postcode of your delivery address. The costs of these services, along with delivery times and further information are listed in the table below. For delivery costs to the Republic of Ireland, please see the European and International Deliveries section below.

Standard Delivery (£1.99)
Delivered within 3-7 working days (Monday to Friday excluding UK Public Holidays) when ordered before 6pm.

Express (DPD) (£3.99)
Delivered within 1-3 working days (Monday to Friday excluding UK Public Holidays) when ordered before 6pm.

Next Working Day (£4.99)
Order before 6pm to receive on the next working day. Orders placed over the weekend, and after 6pm on Friday will be delivered on the following Tuesday.

Saturday (£9.99)
Order throughout the week, before 6pm on Friday to receive on Saturday. Orders placed after 6pm on Friday will be delivered on the following Saturday.

Order throughout the week, before 6pm on Friday to receive on Sunday. After 6pm on Friday, this option will not be available until Monday

Choose a Delivery Date (£6.99)
Upon selecting this option, you will be asked to Choose a Delivery Date from those available. If the option you require is not available, please contact customer services.

Orders can be despatched to your home or work place and unless you have paid for a special timed delivery, your order will delivered on a weekday (Monday – Friday) between 8.00am to 8.00pm. All deliveries will require a signature. We dispatch orders on weekdays only, except on Bank Holidays.

We do not offer a collection from depot service and our recommendation is that you ensure someone is available to sign for your orders. If nobody is available to sign for the goods, the courier will leave a card with details of the phone number to call to arrange another delivery. Within the shopping cart there is a facility where you can add special delivery instructions. For example: "Door entry code 1234" or "If out, please leave with neighbour".

In-Store Options:

Reserve & Collect:

If you would like to pick up your goods from us directly then please use our Reserve & Collect service where any goods can be reserved at your store of choice where stock availability allows.

Please take a copy of your Order Confirmation or reservation number when you go to store to collect your items. You should leave at least 2 hours from when you place your order to when you come to collect it. All reservations need to be collected by the close of business next working day. Should this be a problem, or you wish to collect on a specific day, then please contact the store directly, giving your reservation number and the day on which you are able to come to the store, so the goods can continue to be reserved. The reserve & collect pick up point is the store till located in store. Your order has not been paid for therefore you will be required to pay in store.

Deliver To Store:

Customers shopping with american golf can now use the ‘Deliver to Store’ option when ordering specific products, and have their order sent to a nearby store direct from our warehouse, rather than having it delivered to their home.

This makes waiting at home for a delivery, or travelling to a depot and queuing for a collection, things of the past.

To see whether a product is available for store delivery, simply look for the delivery options on the product page, and if you see a green tick against the delivery store option then you’re good to go!

Should you require a store delivery, simply select it when the product has been placed in your shopping cart and you are ready to proceed with the transaction.

We dispatch Deliver to Store orders from our warehouse on weekdays only, and excluding Bank Holidays, to be available for collection in 2 working days. Orders placed before 6:00pm on a Monday will be available for collection from Wednesday. Orders placed on Friday before 6:00pm will be available for collection from Tuesday (excluding Bank Holidays, when it will be available on Wednesday). Should an order be placed after 6:00pm Friday or over the Weekend, it will be ready for collection on Wednesday. Please ensure you wait until the scheduled day of collection and present Photo ID when you pick up your order such as Driving Licence or Passport.

Some products are not able to be selected for Deliver to Store so please check this beforehand or contact a member of our customer service team if still unsure.

European and International Deliveries:

For our European and International customers, we provide a delivery service to most countries within the EU as well as Australia and New Zealand. Orders to these destinations will be delivered within a competitive 3-7 working day timeframe, providing your order is placed before 6pm GMT. For orders received after this time, processing will begin on the following business day.

The costs for delivery to these destinations can be found in the tables below, along with the order value required to qualify for free delivery. Please select you currency from the list to be shown the relevant information. All European and International orders will be delivered within 3-7 Working days (when placed before 6pm GMT). Additional Information:

Bulk and Oversized Orders:

Unfortunately, orders containing Oversized items may incur additional delivery costs. Should you order one of these items, you will be contacted prior to shipping. We reserve the right not to accept bulk orders or orders for resale. In the event that we do accept the bulk order, you will be contacted to pay the additional delivery cost associated with delivering a bulk order.

Delivery to PO Boxes:

Due to new restrictions on size of parcels, we regret we are no longer able to deliver to PO BOX addresses.

Australia and New Zealand deliveries:

Please note that when shipping to Australia and New Zealand import tax is incurred when the order value exceeds a certain amount. For Australia an order of £623 GBP 1000 Australian $ (£623 GBP subject to exchange rates) or more will incur a tax and for New Zealand, taxes will be incurred when you spend 400 New Zealand $ (£190 GBP subject to exchange rates) or more.

Transportation of Liquids & Aerosols:

Please be advised that we are unable to process and ship certain orders overseas by air or road due to international customs laws in place by some countries. Below is a list of forbidden goods not accepted for carriage or storage:

  • - Dangerous or hazardous goods
  • - Flammable goods
  • - Dated and perishable food/drink
  • - Liquids (This includes batteries and battery acid)
  • - Glass

VAT Content and Refunds:

If your order is to be shipped to an area that is exempt from UK VAT, the correct amount will be removed from your basket. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide documentation for VAT Refunds on products delivered within the UK, that will subsequently be taken abroad.

How do I track my order?

We ship all of our orders on fully trackable services. You will receive an email with a link to your tracking, as soon as your order is dispatched from our Distribution Centre. You can also see instructions on how to track your purchase by visiting our Order Tracking page here.

How do I return something?

We want to make shopping with us as easy as possible. Should you be dissatisfied with a purchase from the american golf website, you may return unused products in their original packaging and with any labels within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. If you choose to return your item(s) to one of our stores, please ensure that you take your confirmation email with you so that you receive the correct refund. Please note that orders paid for with PayPal or Amazon Pay, can only be returned in store for credit or exchange. What happens if I miss the couriers when they deliver?

To make your orders as secure as possible, all of our deliveries require a signature. If you miss the delivery of your order, the courier will attempt to deliver it to a neighbour. If this cannot be done, the courier will leave you a card informing you that a delivery has been attempted, with information about what will happen next. The courier may try to redeliver or another day, or you may be given options to choose new delivery options.

I've made an error on my order - how do I change it?

How do I cancel my order?

If we have not begun processing your order for delivery, we are able to cancel it and you will not be charged. Please contact our Aftersales team as soon as possible, between 8am and 8pm (GMT) on weekdays and 9am till 1pm (GMT) on Saturdays by calling 0151 224 7140

If we have started processing your order for delivery, don’t worry. Our returns policy allows goods to be returned up to 30 days after you receive your order, as long as they are unused and in their original packaging.
