PING G25 Tour Golf Fairway Wood
The PING G25 Tour Fairway Wood uses a variable face thickness design which was focussed on thinning out the face perimeter and transition region to boost COR creating an energy efficient transfer to give the trampoline effect that produces the higher ball speeds that give you more distance. Increasing ball velocity while maintaining and optimising trajectory means that the PING G25 Tour Fairway Wood is the ideal Fairway for mid-low handicappers. Mid-low handicap golfers will benefit from the easier alignment by the charcoal coloured, non-glare matte finish which sets off the golf ball nicely at address.

PING G25 Tour Fairway Wood Technology

Maximising your distance and accuracy on long shots from the fairway is accomplished by matching the correct shaft flex for your swing. The goal is to achieve the correct trajectory shape with the fairway wood, which maximises distance with the longer woods and minimises roll with the shorter woods. External sole weighting has repositioned a lot of mass low and back to give high launch forgiveness and the 17-4 stainless steel head has a slightly larger profile in a traditional shape easy to align with the target. MOI is higher, mostly noticeably in the heel toe axis which improves the performance on mis-hits especially low on the face which is critical because this is the typical mis-hit for many golfers.
