Terms & Conditions

The competition is open to entrants resident in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Employees of Garmin, American Golf and other representatives of their affiliates, and advisors and their immediate family members are not permitted to enter the competition. Entry implies acceptance of the rules. American Golf can accept only those entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated below. Entrants must be 18 years or over.

You must promptly notify American Golf if you become aware of a potential breach of security, such as unauthorised disclosure or use of your password, username, or e-mail address. American Golf reserves the right to disqualify any entry from the prize-draw if in its sole judgment the entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions. The winner and the chosen guest must be over 18 years of age to enter and the chosen guest must be 18 years of age. The Prize carries no cash value and is non-transferable.

The competition will commence at 00.01 BST 22 06, 2015 and close at 23.59 BST on 05 07, 2015. Duplicate entries, copies and other mechanical reproduction of entries are not permitted. American Golf may immediately terminate any account that it determines, in its sole discretion is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any "spam" or other unsolicited bulk e-mail. Entries that are completed or entered by means not in compliance with these rules will be disqualified and the Entrant will not be eligible for future participation in competitions with American Golf and Garmin.

American Golf and Garmin will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive entries due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries (c) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or other computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any contest disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of American Golf or Garmin; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the prize-draw.

The prize winner shall be selected by American Golf after the Competition period. The winners will be notified by e-mail within one day. The prize winners will have two (days) from notification to respond to American Golf. By entering the competition you consent to American Golf passing on your details to any relevant third party for the purpose of contacting you directly in the event you're a winner.

If a selected winner or substitute winner is unreachable or ineligible, or fails to claim the prize, the winner or substitute winner will forfeit his or her prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner. Prizes are not transferable, and no substitutions (including cash) will be given. The unclaimed prize remains the property of American Golf. This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non winners will not be notified.

The name of the winner and their country of residence will be provided on receipt of a written request sent to: Marketing Department, American Golf Race to Augusta, Gemini Retail Park, Europa Boulevard, Warrington, WA5 7YW

By entering the competition you release American Golf, relevant third parties, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agencies from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the competition or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (except as prohibited by law).

By accepting any prize, entrants consent to the use of their name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional and other purposes without further payment, except where prohibited by law. The winner may be required to participate in American Golf’s and Garmin’s marketing and promotional activities. By entering into this competition you consent to participate in American Golf’s and Garmin’s marketing and promotional activities including providing a paragraph for the American Golf blog and associated PR. The approximate cash value of this prize is £3995
