Hunter Mahan signs multi-year contract extension with PING
Hunter Mahan has signed a multi-year extension to his equipment deal with PING, keeping the American with the golf and clothing company for the foreseeable future.
The world No.22 will continue sporting a PING golf cap whilst using the brand’s bag and clubs as he attempts to win trophies on the PGA Tour. The details of the new deal, including financial terms and the length of agreement, were not disclosed.
Mahan remains part of PING Golf’s strong entourage of players which includes a host of top professionals, Lee Westwood, Bubba Watson and Louis Oosthuizen among them.
“Hunter impresses us year in and year out with his consistency, and that’s a testament to how hard he works to maintain his status as one of the game’s best,” said PING’s chairman and chief executive, John Solheim in a statement confirming the new deal.
“He combines talent with a great work ethic and a very likeable personality that connects with fans. Hunter has been a loyal Ping player since college and we’re proud to continue our affiliation with him.”
