Brooks Koepka put in a masterful performance to hold off a final round 63 from Tommy Fleetwood to successfully defend his US Open title at Shinnecock Hills.
WATCH: Jordan Spieth inches away from walk-off albatross
Jordan Spieth would have been forgiven for being a little rusty heading into the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
But the world number one looked any thing but as he waltzed to an eight shot victory on -30.
This was highlighted on the par-5 18th in Spieth’s third round as he came agonisingly close to holing his second shot from 250 yards.
Spieth punched a low 3-iron which drew around towards the green, pitched short but then immediately started tracking towards the hole.
It brushed the side of the hole before coming to rest six feet away. Neelees to say he holed the eagle putt.
