Watch: Shingo Katayama’s unique warm-up at the EurAsia Cup

Powered by National Club Golfer

Everyone has their own little way of getting ready to go out and play golf. We’ve all seen Miguel Angel Jimenez.

But Japan’s Shingo Katayama takes things to a whole new level.

You might think it strange to see him whacking drivers off a tee that is about one foot off the ground but that’s nothing when you realise he is right-handed but hitting them left-handed.

The 42-year-old was warming up for the Saturday session at the EurAsia Cup and it was quite a work-out for his caddie too who placed a fresh ball on to the tee between each back-swing.
