WATCH: Tour pros take on the 200-yard putt challenge at Scottish Open

Powered by National Club Golfer

When faced with 200-yards to the pin on a par-3 what club are you thinking? 4-iron? hybrid? or how about a putter?

That was the given club to tour pros on the 17th at Castle Stuart during the Scottish Open in a unique nearest the pin challenge.

It’s fair to say that some players relished the challenge more than others.

After a few shanks and lost balls, it was down to Scottish duo Marc Warren and Russel Knox to show the rest how it was done.

Warren ran his effort to 27ft which was looking like a winner until Knox hit one to 9ft which was the clear winner on the day.

Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson and Steve Striker were among those not too keen on the challenge.
