Product Options

  • Dexterity:
  • Loft:
    ?

    Loft option tooltip

Loft is the primary factor in the golf balls trajectory. The greater the loft, the higher the ball flight will be.

  • Ping Shaft:
    ?

    Shaft option tooltip

The golf shaft uses the centrifugal force of the swing to generate clubhead speed for striking the golf ball. By picking the correct shaft type to match your swing speed, you'll add distance, consistency and performance to your game.

  • Flex:
    ?

    Flex option tooltip

The flex determines a shaft’s ability to bend during a swing, affecting clubhead speed, distance and control.

Which flex you use will depends on the type of swing you have. Beginners and those with less powerful swings tend to use a shaft with greater flexibility to create more clubhead speed. However, if a player has a high swing speed, they will require a stiffer shaft with less flex.

  • Shaft Length Adjustment:
    ?

    Shaft length tooltip

Getting the correct shaft length benefits you in several ways. We are all different in height and our wrist to floor measurements. Having the wrong length shafts can hinder your address position, stop the clubhead sitting correctly at address & impact and cause lack of accuracy and consistency.

  • Ping Grip:
    ?

    Grip option tooltip

The style of the grip is more often a personal choice but choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. We all have different sized hands so take this into account when building your perfect club.

  • Grip Thickness:
    ?

    Grip thickness tooltip

Choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. If the grip is too thin your hands will over-rotate resulting in a pull or draw. If the grip is too thick it limits movement of the wrists, leading to a push or fade.

Overview
The G425 offers high MOI levels, to produce more forgiveness in a driver. The LST (low spin technology) version is engineered for the advanced player with a slightly smaller 445cc pear-shaped head profile which delivers lower levels of spin.

The G425 LST Driver Features:

  • High MOI (moment of inertia)
  • T9S+ Forged Face
  • Ti-8-1-1 Body / Turbulator Technology
  • 1-Year Guarantee

High MOI (moment of inertia)

Ping Engineers developed the G425 with combined technologies from the G400 Max and G410 Plus drivers. But to achieve new performance levels PING elevated the MOI level by utilizing a 17-gram high-density tungsten weight. This back weight can be positioned in 3 places to enhance draw, fade or a neutral setting without sacrificing any other performance attributes.

T9S+ Forged Face

This thinner face delivers high ball speed, thanks to a unique heat-treating process that delivers a higher-strength face area. This surface is precision machined for maximum flexing, to deliver more distance all the way across the face area.

Ti-8-1-1 Body / Turbulator Technology

This 460cc driver features a Ti 811 ultra-thin crown with advanced Internal Dragonfly Technology which improves weight savings. The weight saved in this construction increases the MOI for more forgiveness and distance than ever before.

The shape of the crown and Turbulators has been re-designed for better airflow efficiency, to reduce aerodynamic drag. These bold crown Turbulators allow increased airflow for more clubhead speed, plus provides better alignment at the address point position.

Adjustability

The hosel on the driver has five loft and lie adjustments to fine-tune trajectory, +-1.5⁰ (0, +1⁰, +1.5⁰, -1⁰, -1.5⁰ loft adjustments, and up to 3⁰ flatter.

Features

Lower Spin

The pear-shaped, 445cc head reduces spin approximately 200-400 rpm compared to the G410 LST, promoting a flatter, lower-launching trajectory for faster swing speeds. A 17-gram CG shifter can be set to Draw, Neutral or Fade to fit your swing and desired ball flight.

Dragonfly® Refined

Movable tungsten weights that vary by model are made possible by weight savings attributed to advancements in the drivers’ Dragonfly crown technology.

Precision Forged Face

A proprietary high-strength, precision-machined T9S+ forged face maximises flexing to deliver fast ball speeds and more distance.

Fast Design

Refined crown turbulators reduce aerodynamic drag for increased swing speed and ball velocity.

Easy Adjustability

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilises a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customise your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

Internal Ribbing

PING engineers developed an internal rib structure in the Ti 8-1-1 body, reinforcing key sections of the head to improve acoustics for a solid, pleasing sound and better feel.
